Another game and another win for the Mighty Well as they brush past Glasgow Uni 3 - 1 in agame which should have been 7 or 8 - 1 if only our corner routine worked. Maybe next week.

The Mighty Well steamroll on in their single minded persuit of promotion with a convincing 11- 2 thrashing of Ayr. Leading 3 - 2 at half time the Mighty Well fired in 8 unanswered goals in the second half. Play of the day was Widgits deflection of the ball towards Andy Liddles head in the dugout. Fortunately Liddle skillfully avoided the ball.

The Well go 3 and 0 in the league with a resounding win over last years relegated team Giffnock.

The club would like to welcome back former captain and Scotland international Chris Mitchell to the club. Chris returns from his stint at Western, realising where his heart really belongs, and is sure to be a real driving force in midfield this season.
The club would also like to welcome Scotland and Great Britain international David Mitchell back to the fold. David also returns from a long stint at Western where he won numerous honours.
The club would also like to welcome back Ian Dyett from his little break from the game. The forward will add much needed toughness upfront with his never say die attitude.
